I was thrilled to find out you guys produce a urethane draft horse shoe. Nice wide webb too. It's great for sunken soled feet. The sole does real well right on the shoe if the hoof wall is too weak or panned out to support the hoof. You can get the frog firmly translated right to the ground as well with that shoe. And then the urethane shoes seem to stimulate hoof wall growth. That is nice for flat saggy soled feet that won't grow. I was planning on extending the frog to the ground with your shoe using either a fastened insert or just epoxy. Possibly even filling in the entire underneath. The best place for a saggy sole is on the ground, with a full urethane sole for protection. They don't make horses feet like they used to. So thanks very much for manufacturing that urethane draft horse shoe. They have an extremely important place. Todd S. - Rhinelander, WI
I would also like to tell you that as a farrier I have used FLEX-STEP shoes on several different occasions when a non-traditional iron shoe wouldn't work, or could not provide the support and shock absorption needed for that particular horse. The results I have had with FLEX-STEP has been far better than I would have expected, and the FLEX-STEP shoe has become part of my shoeing arsenal. Besides being a farrier we are also in the business of educating farriers and this is a product that I believe our students need to know about and be able to use when the need arises.
